These are solid rubber and will last a long time.  If they start to wear, simply flip them over.  These washers are the perfect replacement seals for the most common size flip-top bottles.  Also the very best washers to use for strap locks.

Some people recommend taking the gasket off and flipping it over between uses, which helps it wear evenly and allows you to inspect the gasket.  To sanitize you can boil them or just spray on some Star-San!
